POSITION SUMMARY
This is an on-call general labor position, which provides maintenance and cleaning of Vernon County grounds and buildings. Employee maintains landscape and grounds as well as performing routine maintenance and cleaning of Vernon County buildings and outlying areas in addition to other general duties. Duties may include running equipment for lawn care and snow removal such as tractor, loader, high speed mowers, and plow truck as well as motorized cleaning equipment. Employee works under the direction of the Chief Custodian. The job is mostly manual labor.

QUALIFICATIONS |
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED. Prior experience in cleaning and maintenance preferred but not required. In evaluating candidates for this position, the County may consider a combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position.
